The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized as a joint production by Core Developers of OpenSimulator and AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and social events across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.
More info at http://conference.opensimulator.org and to register, go to https://oscc17.eventbrite.com
All speakers (presenters & co-presenters) should plan to attend the Speaker Orientation session to practice connecting to the conference grid, test Skype connection and microphone, walk through using the slide presentation system and troubleshoot any issues with your media, slides, or other presentation materials, and to answer any questions you may have. You will also be able to set up your presenter poster booth!
For the best test run through of your presentation, you should have your OpenSImulator viewer and Skype already installed and set up on your machine, as well as a headset/microphone, and test slide images or media types you plan to use in your presentation.
We will meet on the OpenSImulator Community Conference grid in the OSCC Keynote 1 region. You can view the OSCC conference grid map at http://cc.opensimulator.org/map/.
