OpenSimulator Community Conference 2017

The OpenSimulator Community Conference is an annual conference that focuses on the developer and user community creating the OpenSimulator software. Organized as a joint production by Core Developers of OpenSimulator and AvaCon, the virtual conference features presentations, workshops, keynote sessions, and social events across diverse sectors of the OpenSimulator user base.

Tour of Spanish Language Learning at Escape

Please join us for a walking tour of Escape, a sim devoted to language learning. You will see examples of embedded learning activities, NPCs and role-playing venues.

The Hypergrid International Expo is a two-day community event, featuring four sessions each presented in one of four languages: German, Spanish, French, and Italian. HIE is an opportunity to hear the many voices of OpenSimulator users telling their stories in their own words on technical, artistic, educational, and social subjects.

Don't speak all these languages? No problem! There will be many visual aids and a 'subtitle service' in specially created Groups. Translation into English and, where possible, into the other languages, will be provided so that all can understand the presentations. When you arrive on the grid, join the language group of your choice, and read a live summary of the talk you're listening to!
